SkySpecs Welcomes Michael McQueenie to Serve as European Sales Manager



With over ten years of experience in wind energy, McQueenie seeks to grow SkySpecs’ services offerings


ANN ARBOR, Michigan – SkySpecs, provider of Operations and Maintenance automated solutions for the wind energy industry, welcomes Michael McQueenie to their European sales team. In his new role, McQueenie will leverage existing networks of customer relationships to grow SkySpecs’ data collection, software, and engineering services offerings.


McQueenie said, “I’ve worked with companies in the past that extolled innovation as the core of their business, but it really wasn’t until I was introduced to SkySpecs that I realized the most impressive innovations in the wind O&M space were coming from them. While their automated data collection (drone) solution is the best on the market, their entire suite of asset management software and engineering services are transforming the future of renewables.”

McQueenie’s experience in the sector has revealed a drive to reduce the cost of energy, and he believes that technology and advancements in machine learning, AI and field of automation are the keys to that transformation.
