SkySpecs entered the wind energy industry in 2014 as an automated drone inspection company. After quickly earning a leading position in the United States and European markets, conducting over 25,000 onshore and offshore inspections for the biggest wind energy owners in the space, we grew our services and capabilities to offer a full-wrap operations and maintenance suite of solutions.
Why is this important for the industry? We can now present multi-layered solutions to our customers that include data collection, wind turbine blade engineering expertise, collaborative software to manage and analyze massive amounts of data, spot trends and create plans for high-cost repair campaigns, and – ultimately – reduce the cost and risk within the industry. Our mission is to make wind energy more attainable for the world through the automation of wind farms.
In the last 18 months, SkySpecs tripled its staff, opened a new office in Amsterdam, moved to a new space in Ann Arbor, and welcomed several key players in the industry to our team. It’s been a thrilling ride, and we are poised for even more growth in 2020.
SkySpecs is seeking a Front End Web Software Engineer who will work with our application and platform teams to build Horizon, a web application for industrial energy operators to track damages to their assets and coordinate associated repairs. As a SkySpecs Front End Web Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to create unique new experiences to manage outdated industrial processes. Our team especially values people who are curious, internally motivated, and eager to pursue projects which pique their own interest.
Glad you asked; it’s not a one-way street. We want to sell you on why we’re the best, too.
